Q: Why is this better than a regular felt pad?
A: You’ll save the time, energy and grief of picking up your chairs to kleen under them and get all that nastiness off the felt pads. And even a certified Kleen Freak™ could use some extra time and energy for something other than kleening.
Q: How do they work?
A: The “shield” part of the pad, well, shields the felt pad from nastiness – so that stuff won’t have a chance to attach or build up.
Q: Does this protect my floors?
A: Yes! The felt pad contacts the floor and protects from scratches, dents and dings just as our ordinary furniture pads do. Plus, it dampens the thumps and squeaks when moving chairs.
Q: Does it kleen my floors?
A: No, not exactly. But by keeping fuzzballs from building up on chair legs, it does make your usual floor kleening more efficient. So you’ll probably spend less time doing it.
Q: Will I have less hair and dirt on my floors?
A: The same amount is likely to collect on your floors, but kleening them will be easier and more effective since nastiness won’t collect and hide around your furniture’s felt pads.
Q: Will I have to kleen less?
A: You’ll probably kleen faster. You’ll be able to get all the offenders rather than having any hide out on your felt pads. When your felt pads stay kleen, you save precious time.

Q: Why are there two different types of applications?
A: There’s one for wooden chair legs, one for all others. Dual Spike & Stick is the recommended application for a tight grip on wooden legs. They provide a long-lasting hold by combining a strong adhesive and small cleats that grip into wooden legs. Since you can’t hammer the cleats into metal legs, we also have an adhesive-only version.
Q: Which size do I need?
A: That depends on the size of your chair leg. We have 1” and 1.5” versions available at this time, and we’ve found they work great on a wide range of leg sizes.
Q: Can I use them on square legs?
A: Yes, indeed! Our pads install easily, stick great and provide protection for legs of all shapes.
Q: Do I have to be a freak to use them?
A: Of course not. Not even a Kleen Freak™. But tests have shown that the results freak a lot of people out!
